More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 17, 2026. I am in kennel SOUTHB21. ID #A2091625 4-year-old German Shepherd mix Female | Brown/Black DOB: 8/17/2022 weight: 49.8 lbs Intake date: 8/17/26 ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Marigold tested LOW POSITIVE for heartworms. On 9/1, she developed a URI/CIRD with green nasal discharge, sneezing and a hacking cough. She was treated with Doxycycline 250 mg once daily for 10 days. By 9/13, her URI was documented as RESOLVED, with no discharge from her eyes or nose, and she was considered apparently healthy and returned to adoption. ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Marigold has shown staff an incredibly affectionate side. She repeatedly walks nicely on a loose leash, greets handlers with a wiggly body and wagging tail, accepts affection, and will press her head against a person's leg or hand asking for more pets. Staff have called her 'very friendly' and 'very sweet.' Marigold has also proven herself to be quite the escape artist'she has climbed out of her kennel multiple times'so she'll need a secure environment.
