Lina A5801245 (Intact) was initially at the front of the kennel with a timid demeanor but retreated after the leash was presented to her. The kennel divider was lowered to prevent further retreat. The runner then proceeded to partially enter the kennel and placed the leash over her head without issue. Lina exited the kennel on her own but quickly became overwhelmed in the kennel environment, causing her to pull back on the leash. With some gentle leash guidance and coaxing, she made her way to the catch pen, walking at her own pace. Once inside the catch pen, a collar and leash were placed with ease on Lina. She was then let into the yard, where she exchanged greetings with the other dogs, exhibiting a neutral body posture during the interactions. However, Lina became overstimulated by one of the energetic dogs who was playing in her vicinity. She began to chase the other dog around the yard but stopped when the handlers intervened. After she settled, Lina continued sniffing the dogs around her. She was separated from the group after she pinned down another dog who was also interacting energetically. Lina was allowed to decompress alone before being returned to her kennel without incident. Due to her impulsive responses, Lina could benefit from a calm companion to prevent potential conflict.
