LIKE JUMPING, MOUTHINESS, AND AIR SNAPPING. SOURCE STATED THESE BEHAVIORS ARE ESCALATING, AND THAT THE PET'S PLAYFULNESS THAT CAN BE MISTAKEN AS AGGRESSIVENESS. Evaluation Comments (Observations from our staff and volunteers) 9/17/2026 Updating color due to NHO status. 9/15/2026 Handler approached kennel back; Dog was outside for AM cleaning; Dog was mild panting; ears alert; tail wagging loose bodied; Handler unlocked door and dog was standing on front twos on door; Handler had to get dogs attention to get down; Once dog got down handler held leash in opening and dog came forward with ease; attempt fence fight neighboring dog; handler kept on short leash and walked with leash guidance forward; Dog disengaged and followed; Walked out and through building thresholds with no issue; Walked to catch pen and allowed leash secure; Allowed dog to explore yard; Dog was soliciting pets and attention ; jumpy; high energy; mouthy when playing; a little mouthy when taking treats but handler stood and gave treats in increments; open palmed and by fingers to have dog settle in between; dog seemed to pick up on after a few minutes; engaged in agility yard with treats; Dog remained loose bodied and tail wagging entire evaluation; Solicited pets and attention to handlers in passing of yard; greets at fence line; Solicits more pets and attention to handler; Engaged in play in yard; stayed near handler for most of evaluation just wanting attention; When time to go handler walked to exit; dog allowed leash grab and adjustment; Walked with mild pull to kennel; walked up to kennel ; attempt fence fight; handler kept on short leash ; guided dog into kennel; dog went in; allowed leash removal by hand; 9/12/2026 Friendly and seeking attention in triage room. No vaccines needed, applied mylar and walked to kennel. Entered kennel easily and allowed leash removal. Green behavior in triage and with kennel placement today, orange due to previous bite and behavior notes from adopter. 9/1/2026 M&G - easy to leash and return, would not come to backside of kennel, but came out of front sid easily, social, friendly, and jumpy in yard, medium energy 8/30/2026 Solicited attentions, Playful, Easy to pull from kennel, Easy to return to kennel, Takes treats nicely, Ignored dogs when walking past kennels, Sit, Lottie stayed near the kennel front & easy pull from the front. Returned to the back; tossed a few treats in and she walked in. Displayed puppy like exuberance upon exiting; jumped at handler, but easily redirected down with 'sit' and treats; settled into easy leash quickly. 8/25/2026 Handlers approached kennel front, dog was loose and wiggly in posture. Handler offered a few treats while preparing leash. Handler presented leash in kennel, dog was excitable but allowed proper placement. Once leash was secured handler opened gate and walked dog out to PY. Dog had mild pull on leash and showed interest in volunteers in passing. Once in Training room handler released dog, both handler sat on chairs and allowed dog time to decompress. Dog ran around room with loose posture and solicited pets from both handlers. Dog would run between handlers allowing pets and rolling over for belly scratches. Dog briefly reacted to reflection in glass but was able to redirected. Dog took treats gently from handlers hands. After some time handlers walked dog back to kennel. Dog was hesitant to enter kennel, handlers approached back kennel, stepped in with dog and applied light guidance. Dog entered kennel. Handler stepped out and knelt down. Dog allowed leash removal by hand without issue. 8/23/2026 Updating color to orange due to bite history 8/16/2026 Walked into triage room, seeking attention. Rolling over for petting. When vaccinating, used light restraint but dog immediately began to struggle so picked up and used moderate restraint for vaccination. Accepted treats. Walked to kennel. 5/3/2026 M&G K9 had to be picked up to take from kennel, once outside k9 was put on the floor and walked to yard. Allowed petting all over and getting bully rubs, K9 played with toys and loves treats, takes them gently. K9 did great with child in the yard. K9 had to be picked up to place back in kennel. 5/1/2026 Solicited attentions, Easy to return to kennel, Takes treats nicely, Easy/Loose Leash, Stop and go, Calm, Ignored dogs when walking past kennels, scared barking dogs through the wing stopped but slow walk and followed me. carried a few time to the yard but she walked whole the time no carried yard to her kennel. timid at first but warmed up very quickly. rolled over for rubs many times. loving, affectionate,puppy energy. 4/24/2026 Paw lift, shifting weight, jumped up at corner of kennel door. Sniffed handler with ears back, slightly lowered body, turned head away from handler. Flinched with loud noise. sniffed treats but did not eat. Placing \"yellow\" due to kennel presence and intake notes. 4/23/2026 Pulled K9 from kennel for spay check. K9 would not come inside but showed happy tail wags outside. Approached the kennel from outside and K9 greeted me with happy tail wags and licked my hand. Easily leashed K9 and walked out. K9 was startled by the barking dogs and didn't walk far but was excited for human interaction. K9 laid in my lap while crouched down with happy tail wags. K9 rolled onto back in handlers lap and accepted belly rubs. Was easily able to check for scar with no restraint. Easy return to kennel. 4/22/2026 stiff body upon approach. Nervous; tail tuck. ASO had finder assist in leashing and picking dog up and carrying to kennel. Once inside truck kennel dog loose wiggly body.
