Baby Boy

Baby Boy is an adoptable male Pit Bull Terrier looking for a home at The Animal Foundation in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is fully grown and large in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 2 days left, listed due to behavior. Adopting Baby Boy, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Baby boy needs out of the shelter to be able to decompress. He needs slow introductions with other dogs, he has shown defensive behaviors like showing teeth, and growling at other dogs on first introductions. He has been around other dogs and enjoyed some play with them as well. He is a ladies man! He does seek attention and all handling, he loves treats, and toys. He is a potty dog, which means he prefers to go outside to do his business, which may indicate that he is potty trained. This dog shows dog-selective behaviors, they get along well with some dogs, but not all. They may have preferences about which dogs they' re comfortable around and can sometimes struggle to be socially appropriate with certain others. With ongoing training, supervision, and proper introductions, their interactions with other dogs can continue to improve. We recommend slow, structured introductions to new dogs to ensure positive experiences. Due to the severity of these behaviors, this animal is transfer only and not a foster candidate at this time.
