Cassey

Cassey is an adoptable male Pit Bull Terrier looking for a home at The Animal Foundation in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is fully grown and large in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with just one day left, listed due to behavior. Adopting Cassey, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Cassey is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Cassey was recently adopted and returned a few days later due to not being a good fit for their home. Cassey has gone to everyday playgroup and perfers female doggy friends over the males. He has gotten into an altercation recently. Cassey is friendly and social with staff members and has not given any trouble when it comes to handling. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation. This dog is a 'potty dog' at the shelter which means they wait to go outside to do their business and is likely housebroken. This dog is working with our training team daily on leash skills, basic obedience, and good manners. This animal needs placement by 9/22 at 3 PM.
