They entered the shelter together, and now Abraham has been euthanized. Joab urgently needs someone to step forward for him. ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Joab is able to stand and walk on all four legs and has a small area of hair loss on his left shoulder/tricep. No medical treatment was considered necessary at this time. ❤️ Heartworm NEGATIVE 💉 Received rabies, DA2PP-V and Bordetella vaccines, deworming and Advantage Multi. ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Joab is a frightened, timid puppy who is struggling in the shelter environment. He trembles in his kennel, avoids eye contact and sometimes won't walk once leashed. Staff have been able to pick him up, carry him outside and pet him, and he has allowed them to return him to his kennel without issue. His medical notes specifically state that he needs time and effort to gain confidence but could be a sweet dog and pet. At only 7 months old, Joab needs someone willing to give this scared puppy the time and security he needs to come out of his shell.
