Tenzin

Tenzin is an adoptable male American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a home at NYC ACC-Manhattan in New York, New York. He is fully grown and medium in size. Tenzin arrived at the care center following a bite incident. Tenzin was fed next to another dog, which resulted in the two dogs beginning to fight. When someone attempted to separate them, they got bitten on the left forearm. They are unsure which dog bit them on the arm. While in care, Tenzin has been observed to be loose and wiggly with handlers and is noted to solicit attention. However, on leash Tenzin has been reported to fixate on a small dog and present with a tense body when greeting another dog through the gate. Medically, Tenzin has unspecified dermatitis and otitis externa. Tenzin arrived at MACC following a bite incident. Tenzin was fed next to another MMB which resulted in the two dogs beginning to fight. When someone attempted to separate the dogs, they got bitten on the left forearm. They are unsure which dog bit them on the arm. Due to the detailed behavior, we recommend an experienced adult-only, single pet home that makes no trips to the dog park.
