Maxine is an adoptable female Poodle looking for a home at NYC ACC-Queens in Ridgewood, New York. She is senior and medium in size. In the care center, Maxine has shown fearful behavior around leashing, including dodging the leash and darting back and forth between kennels, requiring the transfer door to be closed in order to safely leash her. She has also recently been observed consistently scratching at her kennel walls. Once out of her kennel, Maxine is able to explore calmly and return to her kennel without issue. Medically, Maxine is blind geriatric small dog, recently recovered from CIRDC, and is would benefit from a dental if she can be cleared to be an appropiate anesthetic candidate.
