Evaluation Comments (Observations from our staff and volunteers) 9/29/2026 Dog was standing at front of kennel; neutral body; took treats; allowed for easy leashing; exited; hard pull for size; stopped to sniff; continued pulling hard to yard. In yard, dog explored for a few moments; relaxed; defecated; handler went to pick up waste; dog ran over while handler was picking up waste; dog approached handler from behind and placed front paws up to jump off of handler; ran around in yard; dog approached handler; started leaping up; attempted to grab at handler's arms and hand when resting to the side; mouthy; grabbed at handler's arm; shook arm; handler was able to move arm away when dog started leaping; dog would follow handler; leaping up; dog grabbed at handler's watch & shook; handler would attempt to sit in chair; dog would follow; eventually settled; handler offered treat; took some treats; did not eat; came back to handler; relaxed; handler slowly started to pet; dog would turn & grabbed at handler's hand; handler stood up; started leaping up; continued trying to grab at anything; dog picked leash up; shook leash in mouth; would turn back to handler; leaping; mouthed at handler's hand; walked over to catch pen; dog continued to follow; settled briefly; handler picked leash up; dog whipped head around; mouthed at handler's hand. Tolerated restraint for vaccines and allowed all petting. Placing \"purple\" due to kennel presence and intake notes. 8/27/2026 Walked into triage, very treat motivated. Allowed all petting and handling, gets excited and wiggly when you pet him. Pulled hard on leash all the way to his kennel.
