Inky

Inky is an adoptable female Pit Bull Terrier looking for a home at NYC ACC-Queens in Ridgewood, New York. She is fully grown and medium in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with just one day left, listed due to medical. Adopting Inky, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

Inky is a nervous but friendly dog who was surrendered due owner unable to care for her. We have assessed that Inky has cherry eye of her right eye and has some eye discharge that may be due to a lack of tear production. While she was tolerant of all other portions of her exam, Inky has behaviorally not allowed diagnostics or treatments for her eyes in house. Inky may need daily maintenance with their medical condition and will require further follow up with outside vet care. What my friends at ACC say about me: I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me. I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. I would do best in a home with only adult humans. I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.
