Bio : CENSUS DEADLINE - Monday Oct. 5th Available for Adoption or Long-Term Foster (30+ Days) through PACC Certain dogs are special- they have so much personality that they become fast favorites of staff and volunteers and win friends everywhere they go. Certain dogs also struggle with life in the shelter more than others. Silas is both of these- an incredibly loveable boy who is overwhelmed with the stress of kennel life and wants nothing more than to be part of a family. Here's what some of his friends have said: 'Silas has such a distinct look to him and reminds me a bit of a Fraggle or some other Jim Henson creation. And don't judge him from his kennel presence! He is a much different dog outside. He's smart, calm, affectionate and a good leash walker away from the kennels. Silas has so much potential. He learns routines quickly and is trying to be the best boy he can be. He just needs someone to give him a chance out of a kennel.' 'Silas settled as soon as we got outside and walked really well away from the kennel chaos. Silas is a really great dog!' 'Today Silas explored the yard- he likes to walk around, sniff, and check things out. He loves treats and took them gently. He's affectionate and enjoyed petting, came when called and also solicited pets. Avery nice and well behaved dog. Delightful dog.' Silas has shared his kennel politely and has been social and playful when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet this very good boy today!!
