Kaneo

Kaneo is an adoptable male American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a home at San Antonio Animal Care Services in San Antonio, Texas. He is fully grown and medium in size. He is listed on the shelter's euthanasia list, listed due to lack of space, and that date has now passed. Shelters often move these dates, so Kaneo may still be waiting. The shelter can confirm.

Evaluation Notes: 10/09/2026 - Dog is laying down near back door of his kennel where he makes eye contact upon approach. He takes treats gently through the barrier and walks over to me as I enter the kennel. He flinches when I first offer affection and when I leash him. He is easily leashed and walked outside. Outside, he is able to adjust and displays sociability by coming over for affection and treats gently by hand with multiple handlers. He is nervous of the leash going over his head when returning to kennel. He is able to \"sit\" with treat prompt.
