She entered the play yard with soft body language. She then sat down by the fence. She tolerated a couple of dogs approaching to sniff her, but she was timid with concemed eyes and a tucked tail. She began to give show of teeth wamings for space. The other dogs then walked away. She began to approach the handlers and seek affection. After some time, she was approached by a male shepherd and gave him a hard air snap, while lunging forward. He then darted away to create space from her. She continued to lip curl or snap at dogs that approached her. She maintained this defensive behavior for the rest of her time in the yard, regardless of the dogs' approach or energy level. She appears under socialized with other dogs. Due to this and her overly defensive behavior, she would likely do best as the only dog in the home.
