He circles his kennel to avoid the leash, sometimes freezes with his head lowered, and has thrashed or chewed at the leash during walks. Despite his fear, Charlie has shown that he can make progress. He follows trails of treats and has successfully walked outside and returned to his kennel without issues during portions of his outings. This scared boy needs a quiet, understanding environment and someone willing to build his trust at his own pace.
