Babka has been noted to fixate on trash cans and pull towards them muzzle-punching the bin and fixating while attempting to open it. He responds to recall and redirects with leash tension. Babka has also been observed to refuse to go back into the kennel at times needing to be muscled in or belly banded into the kennel. Babka is noted to lean into pets, curving his body into their legs. Medically, Babka has recently been treated for CIRDC. Babka arrived at MACC as a stray with no known history. While in care, he has been observed to have a low threshold for arousal. Noted to fixate on inanimate objects such as the trash can and fixate on the handler. Babka has also been observed to jump towards handlers and up high towards their face. Due to the detailed behavior, we recommend an experienced adult-only home. What my friends at ACC say about me: My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet! I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them. I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.
