Additional Info : Phoenix is already stealing hearts! She easily could have been a Scoop Up Alert, and honestly, it was hard to walk away from her. She has a timid, submissive side, but that certainly doesn't stop her from seeking out affection. Phoenix readily approaches, scoots herself as close to you as she possibly can, and seems happiest when she is right by your side soaking up attention. She absolutely loved being hugged and could not get enough of the affection, leaning in and staying close for more. Phoenix is easy to leash, handle, and guide and has a moderate energy level with a wonderfully gentle way about her. She has also been dog friendly in the shelter environment. There is just something incredibly special about this sweet girl. She may be a little timid while she figures everything out, but her desire to connect with people is already shining through. Did I mention I love her? Because I absolutely love her.
