He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with just one day left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Tank, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Evaluation Notes: 10/15/2026 - Coming back later to continue working with him, he comes over to me for treats and sniffs the leash with a tense body. He is easily leashed and begins wagging his tail and is easily walked outside. Once outside, he comes over for affection and play with a wagging tail and loose body. He jumps up for play and attempts to take treats directly from my treat pouch. He nips me and my clothes at time for continued play and would benefit from bite inhibition training. He knows \"sit\" and is not interested in play fetch. When returning to his kennel, he is tense and slow walking past some other dogs and is redirected with me verbally reinforcing him to follow me. It is difficult for me to exit the kennel as he attempts to push the door open and continues to jump on on me seemingly for more treats. Once his paws are on the ground, he is redirected to his bed and I toss treats to exit the kennel.
