Staff report high-pitched barking, jumping, and lunging at the kennel door. She has also growled and barked toward other dogs passing her kennel. She can pull strongly and become jumpy on leash, but she responds to treat redirection and has also demonstrated loose-leash walking. On October 19, Chi-Chi showed a softer side that deserves to be noticed. After exploring the outdoor run, she jumped onto a bench beside a staff member, sat next to them while being petted, and then enjoyed a game of fetch! On another occasion, she returned from her walk and remained quiet in her kennel throughout the morning.
