Available Now Bio Meet Remington, Remington is a male dog who has been diagnosed with spondylosis along the lumbar spine and lumbosacral spondylosis. He also has a growth on his left tarsus (ankle). These conditions require further veterinary evaluation to determine the significance of the spinal changes and the nature of the growth. Remington may require additional diagnostic testing, ongoing monitoring, and appropriate treatment to manage potential discomfort and maintain his mobility and quality of life. The specialized veterinary care and continued follow-up he may need exceed what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment. Despite his medical concerns, Remington deserves the opportunity to receive the care and support he needs. He needs a safe, compassionate placement where he can receive further veterinary evaluation, appropriate pain management if needed, and assessment of the growth on his left ankle to determine the best course of treatment. A dedicated adopter, foster, or rescue can help ensure Remington receives the ongoing care and attention necessary to support his comfort and overall well-being.
