Her skin scraping was negative, and she received flea prevention at intake. Her coat is expected to improve with consistent flea control. She has received vaccinations and deworming. ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Magda is showing signs of shelter stress, including howling, barking, pacing, and attempts to escape. She has become fearful when approached in outdoor runs, sometimes retreating. But there is another side to this frightened puppy. On October 14, staff described Magda as very sweet, reporting that she leaned against their legs and pressed her body close for affection! On October 11, she greeted staff with a relaxed body, soft eyes, and a gently wagging tail, walking nicely on a loose leash. Magda also frequently toilets as soon as she reaches the grass, suggesting she may have some housetraining.
