He retreated to the back of the kennel with concerned eyes. As the handler sat on the threshold, he slowly came up, licking the handler's hand and letting the handler rub his chin. The leash was placed over his head without issue, and he was picked up easily. He was carried without a leash muzzle and enjoyed having his belly rubbed. Once in the viewing area, he readily approached the handler, seeking affection with a loose body and soft eyes. He rolled onto his back several times, trying to solicit belly rubs. The handler had no issue looking in his ears, viewing his teeth, holding each of his paws, and holding his tail. He resumed seeking affection as the handling was concluded and continued playfully rolling onto his belly. He was carried back to his kennel without issue. BEHAVIORALLY OK FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION
