Rolly

Rolly is an adoptable male Pit Bull Terrier looking for a home at Dallas Animal Services in Dallas, Texas. He is still very young and medium in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 2 days left, listed due to medical. Adopting Rolly, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Rolly is a 5-month-old male puppy who is experiencing an injury to his left rear leg involving the cranial cruciate ligament (CCL). His condition requires further veterinary evaluation to determine the severity of the injury and the most appropriate treatment plan. Depending on the findings, Rolly may require surgery, along with ongoing recovery support and rehabilitation. Without appropriate medical intervention and continued care, he is at risk for ongoing pain, reduced mobility, and further complications. The specialized veterinary treatment and potential surgical care he needs exceed what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment. Despite his medical challenges, Rolly is still just a young puppy who deserves the opportunity to grow, play, and enjoy a good quality of life. He needs a safe, compassionate placement where he can receive prompt veterinary evaluation, appropriate treatment, and the necessary recovery support to improve his comfort and mobility. Rolly is at risk for euthanasia due to medical concerns beyond our scope of care. If you are interested in adopting, fostering, or rescuing Rolly, please email dasadopt@dallas.gov.
