Shiloh A5805411 was at the front of the kennel when the runner approached him, he was trembling, his eyes were soft but concerned, his tail was low with no wag and his ears were alert. He retrieved to the back of the kennel when the runner opened the kennel door and was slightly avoidant of the leash. Once out of the kennel he required lots of coaxing and gentle leash pressure to get him to walk. In the catch pen when he was introduced to the dogs his body was low, his eyes were concerned, his tail was low and his mouth was closed. He was nervous of being collared and leashed. He entered the yard and was nervous during the greetings. He became overwhelmed by the dogs and hid by the edge of the yard, he flashed his teeth at the dogs. The handlers had to create space for him, they moved the dogs away from him. He settled. He began roaming the yard quietly. After some time, he began running with the dogs. He attempted to mount one of the female dogs but would stop when the handler verbally corrected him. He engaged in some play. He ran around loosely with the dogs. He was difficult to take back to the kennels, he flattened on the ground and refused to walk, he yelped if the handler attempted to leash guide him. The handler had to wait until he would take steps, and she would walk along his side. He did not want to go back into his kennel. The handler had to enter his kennel with him to get him to go inside. Overall, Shiloh was tolerant of the dogs and would benefit best in a gentle/dainty yard. Behaviorally ok for public adoption, large calm dogs recommended.
