Medical Condition Update: URGENT ORANGE ALERT UNTIL 4PM TODAY, SATURDAY, 10-24 YOUNG DOG WITH SUSPECTED PANCREATITIS MEDICAL ISSUES: 1) Fever, profound lethargy, depression, pale pink mms, dehydrated - R/O inflammatory vs infectious vs other 2) Profound signs of nausea and GI pain - highly suspect acute pancreatitis - R/O other 3) 5# weight loss in shelter x 2 weeks Parvo test negative. Unable to keep in shelter due to limited staffing/ supplies. Pt needs immediate transfer to 24-hour hospital for further diagnostics and care. Open prognosis at this time.
