October 26: Staff observed a tense body, whale eyes, and freezing when leashed. She remained almost motionless in her kennel. October 27: Cranberry continued showing intense fear. Staff carried her out of the kennel, but she began defecating and pulling backward on the leash. She was placed in another kennel nearby. Cranberry is clearly overwhelmed and struggling to cope. She needs a quiet, experienced rescue environment, gentle handling, and time to decompress and build trust at her own pace.
