Luka's previous owner states that he will bite when his paws are touched and will resource guard toys, treats, and food in his possession. While in care, Luka has been observed to be highly rope reactive. Noted to jump up and bite the leash intensely. This behavior is difficult to redirect. In one instance, Luka had to be double leashed due to his rope reactivity. Luka's previous owner describes him as social and affectionate. Medically, Luka is apparently healthy. I am playful and cute! I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them. A Volunteer Wrote: This heart-achingly tender seal pup (those eyes!) has lived happily with dogs and is noted by his former owner to be playful around cats. Yet in the shelter, he sits in his kennel as if he knows his world has been lost, and on a walk he is desperate for the reassurance of a lap and arms around him. The volunteers are devoted to him, calling him "a lovely boy," and "very easy going," and we so want to see him down right. Please offer him a place in your home; whether that includes dog, cats, or just your loving self, let him shine again!
