Intake 10/20/2026 10/20/26 07:28 Gbell #017 two dogs together A5173387 A5173388 Evaluation Comments (Observations from our staff and volunteers) 10/25/2026 Outside for AM cleaning with soft tail wag, soft neutral body, accepted treats gently. Easy leash placement at front of kennel, exited with some pulling, loose wagging tail and soft body on walk, zig zag walking pattern, pulls to sniff dogs in passing remaining neutral bodied, no issues walking to main play yard. Tolerated petting on back when attaching leash stopper, pulled to sniff around yard with some tense body but tail remained loose, no reaction towards handler applying extending leash. Would explore around yard quickly, went potty, some overarousal noted (wide mouth panting, eyes wide, some bursts of sudden high energy) did jump up towards handler once but settled quickly. Knows \"SIT\" accepted treats gently and accepted pets on head. Ran to fence line to observe staff in passing but settled quickly, more interested in yard than handlers. Showing more overarousal behaviors as evaluation progressed, began chuffing/heavy breathing while hard staring handler with tense body and eyes wide towards end of evaluation but able to distract with treats while recovering leash, no reaction towards clip leash being attached. Walked back to kennel with some pulling, zig zag walking pattern, pulled to sniff neighboring dog with some flagged tail wag and tense body but disengaged on own, walked into kennel on own. Used clip leash for leash retrieval, when recovering leash dog would begin biting/pulling leash into kennel, able to distract with treats and remove leash with no issues. 10/24/2026 At front of kennel, slight tense body, softened when coaxed, wagged tail, accepted treats through gate. 10/20/2026 Per PHX PD, both dogs were charging and chasing people, bit a homeless person but he left so no info on bite. They jumped up on another citizen and tore her shirt. Upon intake both dogs allowed leashing, walked on leash, sat on command, allowed all handling . Dogs are very hyper and active 10/20/2026 walks on leash, takes treat gently, light restraint for vaccines, sits on commands , allows all handling did jump up and overstimulated in kennel and grabbed shirt sleeve tearing it.
