Melo

Melo is an adoptable female Foxhound looking for a home at Dallas Animal Services in Dallas, Texas. She is a young adult and large in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 2 days left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Melo, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

Melo is a laid-back gal who seems to prefer a calm environment and may benefit from a quiet home where she can build confidence at her own pace. From our observations, she tends to keep to herself and appears nervous in new situations, so she'll need a patient family who understands she may take time to warm up. With the right support and understanding, Melo could blossom into a wonderful companion. Contact us about Melo today! Due to capacity at the shelter, this pet is currently at risk for euthanasia. We are urgently seeking placement through adoption, foster, or approved rescue. If you are interested in adopting, fostering, or rescuing this dog, please email dasadopt@dallas.gov as soon as possible.
