Bella

Bella is an adoptable female Pit Bull Terrier looking for a home at Dallas Animal Services in Dallas, Texas. She is a young adult and large in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 3 days left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Bella, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

Bella is a 2-year-old, 70-pound sweetheart who proves that big dogs can be gentle, easygoing companions! She recently enjoyed a relaxing Daycation by the lake, showing off her excellent leash manners, friendly personality and love for leisurely strolls with plenty of breaks to enjoy the scenery. Bella loves car rides, knows sit and down, and happily greets new people with a wagging tail. She's also been friendly and relaxed around other dogs and even stood patiently for a bath! While loud noises can sometimes startle her, Bella's favorite things are simple: belly rubs, treats, cuddles and spending time with her people. If you're looking for a laid-back companion who's happy to enjoy life at a slower pace, Bella might be your perfect match! Due to capacity at the shelter, this pet is currently at risk for euthanasia. We are urgently seeking placement through adoption, foster, or approved rescue. If you are interested in adopting, fostering, or rescuing this dog, please email dasadopt@dallas.gov as soon as possible. When emailing, be sure to include a callback phone number so our team can contact you promptly.
