NO Evaluation Comments (Observations from our staff and volunteers) 10/29/2026 Dog was at front of kennel, greeted handler with soft body, wagging tail curled above spine level, took treats through door, began jumping up as handler placed leash, exited quickly, pulling toward door, no approach to neighboring kennels but had piloerection and flagged tail. Strong pull, jumping up on handler with soft body once inside catchpen. Dog entered yard and urinated and defecated, followed handler with neutral body as they cleaned yard. Handler sat on bench, dog approached, soft wag, jumping up on their lap, pushing nose into their treat bag. Handler would take treat and lure into sit, dog was jumpy for treats but would eventually sit. Dog continued to push for treats, tolerated some petting but did not solicit, whining with touch, focused on treat bag, demand bark. Handler tossed treats to the side and grabbed a nearby stuffed toy, dog engaged in fetch with loose body, bringing toy back near handler, self entertaining, then dropping toy and trading for treat. Played fetch for a few minutes, dog remained loose and returned to handler each time, pushing toy against handlers legs while mouthing, would consistently drop for treat, handler continued to lure into \"sit\" position and dog was still jumpy/mouthy for treat but began to demonstrate sit faster with more repetitions. Handler pet dog, dog leaned into petting around neck, soft whining, handler pet towards rear and dog whipped head around, louder high pitch yowl, disengaged from handler. Handler played a bit more fetch then sat on bench, dog jumping up on their lap, handler would block them with hand on their chest, dog gave another high pitched vocalization, handler tossed treats aside and resumed playing fetch. Continued to attempt to pet between throws, dog allowed touch around neck, whining, did not solicit, and would continue to whip head around with touch on hind legs. Another dog walked past yard and this dog ran to fence, piloerection, stiff wag above spine level, weight forward, barking. Returned to handler for a moment but then returned to fence until dog out of sight. Continued to jump toward handler but could be redirected with treats and play. Handler opened catch pen door and dog followed them in, began to jump up and mouth at leash when handler picked it up, stopped as soon as handler dropped leash. Repeated behavior, able to pick up leash on third attempt with treat toss to distract. Strong pull back, alert, flagged tail, entered kennel, allowed leash removal by hand. 10/28/2026 Handler approached kennel front, dog greeted at gate with rounded posture, low tail and head hanging low. Handler reapproached from back kennel hoping to decrease any tension from neighboring dogs. Handler offered a few treats and began leashing attempts. Dog was highly avoidant and began pacing between front and back kennel. Handler lowered guillotine locking dog in back kennel. Handler was able to cast leash over head after several attempts and secure. Handler then walked dog out to nearest PY. Dog was tense in posture with tail flagged, dog pulled moderately. Once in PY handler adjusted leash stopper, attached leash extension and released dog. Dog kept to self for entire outing with continued tense posture and flagged tail. Dog sniffed around yard and marked. Dog approach empty kiddie pool and became fixated on sniffing it, dog would bump it and spook self. Dog would dart away with tucked posture and then return, dog did this for about 3 minutes. Dog was chattering and creating foamy saliva. Dog marked and kicked back rocks at window in yard, again spooking self and darting away. Handler was able to call dog to catch pen after about 10 minutes and retrieved leash. Handler attached clip leash, dog head flipped a few times with closed mouth. Handler walked dog back to kennel, dog was neutral in posture. Dog entered kennel and allowed leash removal using clip leash. 10/22/2026 reactive to other dogs in the lobby, barked at staff from finders car, finder walked to ramp kennel, allowed all vacs with muzzel wrap and moderate restraint, strong pull on leash to kennel Name: Bungie Animal ID: A5173516 Breed: WHITE/BLACK AM PIT BULL TER/DALMATIAN Sex: Male Age: 2Y 0M Weight: 48.0 lbs Kennel: East Kennel, Wing S - 200 Intake Date: 10/22/2026 Deadline Date: 11/4/2026
