Poseidon is an adoptable male German Shepherd looking for a home at Los Angeles County - Baldwin Park in Baldwin Park, California. He is fully grown and medium in size. A dog's behavior may change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences.' Poseidon was lying down with his back toward the runner when the runner approached. He turned to acknowledge the runner, but did not stand up to greet him. The runner stepped into the kennel and gently draped the leash over his head. His eyes opened in concern, but he exited the kennel with no issues. He pulled slightly on leash while bypassing the other kennels. He was wary of being collared, but the runner moved slowly and collared him with no issues. In the catch pen, his body was neutral, his eyes were neutral, and his tail was neutral. He entered the yard, and exchanged appropriate greetings with the other dogs. He roamed the yard with a neutral demeanor, and tried to mount one of the other dogs. When the other dog growled at him, he moved away with no issues. He was wary of the handlers, and moved away whenever the handler approached or tried to pet him. He did not engage in play with the other dogs, but was able to coexist with no issues. Poseidon is tolerant of the other dogs, has a medium energy level, and does not have a playstyle at this time.
