Gunther is an adoptable male Pit Bull Terrier looking for a home at Miami-Dade Animal Services in Doral, Florida. He is fully grown and large in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 4 days left, listed due to behavior. Adopting Gunther, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

5 DAY BLAST 🚨 URGENT ' GUNTHER #A2760966 NEEDS RESCUE 🚨 📍 Miami-Dade Animal Services Gunther is only 3 years old, and after waiting for months at the shelter, he has now been placed on a critical pathway and needs rescue as soon as possible. 💔 🐾 GUNTHER #A2760966 ' Male ' 3 years old ' Friendly and affectionate with people ' Walks well on leash ' Loves to play fetch ' he'll even bring the ball back and put it right in your hand! 🎾❤️ Gunther has been described as a sweet boy who enjoys spending time with people. Unfortunately, shelter staff have found that he is selective with other dogs and has not done well with some of the dogs he has been introduced to. Because of that, Gunther would likely do best as the only dog in the home. If introductions to other dogs are attempted, the shelter recommends that they be done slowly and with the help of a trained professional. This does not take away from all the wonderful things Gunther has to offer. He is reportedly fairly good with people and is considered a yellow/intermediate-handling dog. 💔 Sadly, the shelter has stated that Gunther can no longer remain there. The rescue notice sent August 28 says that within 5 days, his pathway will be determined and could include an immediate euthanasia deadline.
