Chotes is an adoptable male Norwich Terrier looking for a home at BARC Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas. He is a young adult and medium in size. RESCUE ONLY ' MEDICAL🆘️ 🐾 Meet sweet Chotes ID #A2094472 Maltese / Staffordshire Mix | Tan/White Male | 2 years old | DOB 9/4/2024 Weight: 27 lbs | BCS 5/9 Intake date: 9/4/2026 💔 Chotes was found as one of several dogs reportedly locked inside an abandoned house with no electricity. The dogs were reportedly crying in distress, and it was unclear if they had access to food or water. ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Heartworm NEGATIVE. Chotes is bright, alert and responsive. He has a shorter, malformed front left leg. According to the owner, his mother sat on him as a puppy and the leg did not develop normally. 🩺 No intervention is currently needed for his malformed leg. He received DA2PP-V, Bordetella and Rabies vaccines, deworming, Pyrantel and Advantage Multi. ⸻ 🐾 BEHAVIOR NOTES: No formal behavior evaluation was provided in the record.
