Tallulah

Tallulah is an adoptable female American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a home at San Antonio Animal Care Services in San Antonio, Texas. She is a young adult and medium in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list and today is the last day, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Tallulah, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

Evaluation Notes: 09/11/2026 - 1 of 3 in kennel: Dog is barking and growling with a tense body and tucked tail upon first approach. She steps foward with the same body language as I open the kennel door. She retreats with a tense body while growling as the leash is presented. She is unable to adjust for the remainder of the interaction and is given space. Behavior due to undersocialization.
