ID #A2096595 1-year-old female Cairn Terrier mix Gray/White | 11.2 lbs | Intake date: 9/16/26 Status: Rescue only ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Little Georgie came into BARC with significant eye and skin concerns. She has green discharge from both eyes with corneal opacity/cloudiness, including a cloudy left eye. The vet noted possible dry eye (KCS) with corneal scarring and recommended additional eye testing (corneal stain/STT) and possible cyclosporine treatment. Georgie also has generalized hair loss/thinning and skin pigmentation, especially toward the back of her body. Possible causes include allergies, demodex or sarcoptic mange. She is receiving Gentocin eye drops twice daily for 14 days. Georgie is heartworm NEGATIVE and received rabies, DA2PP-V and Bordetella vaccines, deworming/Pyrantel and Advantage Multi. ⸻ 🐾Behavior Notes: Georgie arrived as a stray in severe condition and now needs a rescue able to continue evaluating and treating her eyes and skin.
