She also tested positive for hookworms and whipworms and was prescribed Panacur 9 mL once daily for 3 days, with additional treatment scheduled in 3 weeks and again in 3 months. She has healing, dry scabs along her right hind leg. No additional treatment was considered necessary unless the area fails to improve. ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Wednesday appears very energetic in the shelter environment. She jumps at her kennel door, pulls strongly when walking and vocalizes both in her kennel and outside. During intake, she repeatedly tried to bolt and avoided being leashed, requiring a harness for additional control. Once outside, she potties right away, but remains excited and difficult to redirect with treats.
