YES, PULLS Evaluation Comments (Observations from our staff and volunteers) 9/25/2026 Handler approached kennel back; Dog was outside for AM cleaning; Dog was standing up on door with front twos; tail wagging; ears alert; Handler had dog get down; Unlocked door and held leash in opening; Dog was high energy; paws outside door; handler had to make a smaller loop and crack door a little more; reaching in and placing over head; dog was excited to come out; handler made sure leash was secure and opened door; Dog was pulling towars neighboring dogs that were reactive; Handler kept short leash and guided to yard with ease; Once in yard dog was immediately exploring; Sniffing around ran up to fence line; peering around surroundings; Dog shortly later runs up to handler and jumps up on front twos on handler; Handler redirecred verbally with down; dog gets down; Allowed and solicited pets all over with and without coaxing; Remained loose bodied and tail wagging entire evaluation; Another dog was in passing and dog began to alarm bark; ears alert; small pilo ran up to fence line barking; Handler called by name and made noises; dog disengaged and came back by handler; Handler had dog sit and gave treats; dog seemed very treat motivated; grabby with treats; Dog would jump up on handler with excitement with front twos; handler would correct down; and reward with treats; the next time dog came over; he seemed to pick up and remembered; Sat in front of handler for treats; puppy like behavior; zooomied around yard for remainder of time; engaging in play; When time to go handler grabbed leash; mild pull to kennel; pulled towards neighboring dogs; handler kept on short leash; handler had to step in and use mild pressure guidance into kennel; dog went in; handler left cracked and removed leash by hand; left jackpot of treats to end on positive interaction; 09/25/26 12:30 Updating color due to NHO status. 9/24/2026 Requesting Full Evaluation 9/21/2026 No restraint for vaccines, jumped up on handler for attention, soft and wiggly, and walked to kennel without concerns, and allowed for leash removal. 8/27/2026 dog had high arousal when leashing used treats to lure him through the leash. came out of the kennel with a moderate pull, stopped to sniff others dogs briefly with flagged wagging tail on his way out of the kennel. easily redirected with moderate leash pressure. dog urinated right away in the yard. dog did not attempt to chase after tennis balls thrown for him. dog kept jumping up on handlers. Once in yard dog had high energy throughout, would solicit attentions with handler allowing petting all over, knows \"SIT\" and accepted treats gently. Takes brief interest in toys in yard but will drop toys shortly after picking them up. Showed interest in activities outside of yard, sniffs when staff/dogs walk passed yard, did jump up onto fenceline to sniff but came to handler when called over to solicit attentions with handler.
