Limber must have confirmed placement with a RESCUE PARTNER or ADOPTER by Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10AM. Should Limber's medical or behavioral status change, his urgency and timeline for placement may also change. Meet Limber! This sweet, playful boy has a fun-loving personality and a serious soft spot for his favorite toys, especially balls! Limber enjoys getting out for walks, exploring his surroundings, and spending time with his people. Volunteers have described him as a sweetheart and a good boy, and he has shown that he can be a nice walking companion, with some pulling here and there. He can get a little jumpy when excited, but his playful energy is part of his charm! Limber has shown some promising social skills with other dogs, including appropriate greetings and a positive introduction to a nervous Great Dane. However, he has also had a challenging dog interaction in playgroup that escalated into a fight after repeated corrections from the other dog. He has displayed mounting behavior and can struggle to respond to redirection when overstimulated. Because of these challenges, Limber would do best as the only pet in an adult-only home where his family can focus on helping him succeed and set him up for positive experiences. This ball-loving boy is looking for a family that appreciates his playful personality and will provide the structure, patience, and positive reinforcement he needs to continue learning. In return, you'll have a fun companion for walks, playtime, and all sorts of adventures! If you're looking for a lovable sidekick to make your home a little more exciting, come meet Limber and see if he's the one you've been waiting for!
