Gizmo

Gizmo is an adoptable male Husky looking for a home at BARC Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas. He is a young adult and small in size. He is listed on the shelter's euthanasia list, listed due to lack of space, and that date has now passed. Shelters often move these dates, so Gizmo may still be waiting. The shelter can confirm.

On October 6, Gizmo's owner grabbed his collar to prevent him from running out of the house. Gizmo reacted by biting the owner's hand. The bite was described as minor, and no medical treatment from a doctor was required. Staff observed Gizmo pulling forward on the leash, staring intensely, and growling. Gizmo does not get along with the children in the household so a child-free environment would be appropriate.
