Received vaccinations, deworming and flea/heartworm prevention. Puppies: All six were documented as UNDERWEIGHT on 10/11. These fragile babies weigh only 1.2'1.5 pounds and need close monitoring, proper nutrition and a safe environment to grow. All received deworming on 10/11 and Capstar on intake. ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Chica is a gentle, frightened momma who has been doing her best to protect her babies in an overwhelming shelter. Despite being microchipped, nobody came to reclaim her. She allows people to pet her and handle her puppies. Shelter notes describe her walking slowly and calmly on a loose leash, finding a spot to potty outside and lying down beside her handler. This sweet girl is beginning to trust, but she needs a quiet, loving environment where she can finally relax and care for her growing family without fear.
