Intake Info: This poor dog was running loose in Riviera Beach for about a month. The ACO who picked her up spoke to people in the area who said she stays outside and roams the area. No one claimed ownership of the dog. Her stray time ends on 10/30. Medical: This 2-year-old girl arrived with a leash around neck and was obviously tied up outside for a long period of time due to the filth and twisting of this tether (likely weeks to months). This dog was terribly matted and took four clinic staffers over an hour to clip. Under right leg matting is a severe abscess that was hidden under the terrible matting. It is now being treated. She was clipped, bathed and processed (vaccinated and heartworm negative). She is an absolute sweetheart who is otherwise healthy. Request to Rescues: This girl needs urgent rescue due to her abscess which needs continued treatment and time to heal. She deserves a loving home where she can be cherished and spoiled.
