Travieso is an adoptable male Pit Bull Terrier looking for a home at Riverside County Animal Services-Riverside in Jurupa Valley, California. He is a young adult and large in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 4 days left, listed due to behavior. Adopting Travieso, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Dog was observed presenting appropriate greetings and remained playful for duration of play group. Might have mild impulse control issues. 04/22/26 16:12 Leashed up easy. Pulls on leash besides that walks well. While in play yard dog solicited attention from handler and sniffed around. Dog kept height seeking and lunging towards handler. As Handler needed to move dog to clean inside of kennel dog snapped at handler's hand. Handler then entered kennel with pig board and dog began to bite pig board. Dog appears to be displaying signs of kennel stress. Sedated patient with Zenalpha 1.8 ml IM (per protocol), per Dr. instruction. Dr. examined AU, did not see any foxtails AU. Suspect possible ear infection AU (AS> AD). Cleaned/flushed AU, followed by application of Claro AU. Pt is BAR in kennel. Top right of shoulder appears to have crusty bloody possible hotspot. Clip and clean needed - when time allows.
