Daisy

Daisy is an adoptable female Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for a home at BARC Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas. She is a young adult and medium in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list and today is the last day, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Daisy, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

Located At: BARC Animal Shelter & Adoptions Description: My name is Daisy. I am a female, brindle Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. Age: The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 6 months old. More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 24, 2026. I am in kennel SOUTHA29. Weight: 41.8 lbs Intake date: 8/24/2026 ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Daisy is a young, heartworm negative girl in normal condition and noted as 'very wiggly.' She has received DA2PP, Bordetella and Rabies vaccines, deworming, Pyrantel and Advantage Multi. ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Poor Daisy appears to be having a difficult time adjusting to the shelter environment. She has been vocal, jumping at her kennel door and pulling on leash. Despite her kennel stress, Daisy allows staff to leash and walk her and has shown some interest in treats. At only 18 months old, she's still essentially a puppy who desperately needs an opportunity to decompress away from the constant noise and stimulation of the shelter.
