Marley A5798050 (Altered) was provided with a bowl of food, but she appeared uninterested, briefly sniffing it. The handler gradually introduced an Assess-a-Hand tool and made contact with the bowl, but Marley was unbothered as she showed more interest in observing what was happening in her surroundings while pacing anxiously with a slightly tense posture. The handler continued to maneuver the bowl with the tool, but there was no response from Marley. The session concluded with Marley displaying no concerning behavior during the assessment. However, due to kennel staff reporting resource-guarding behavior displayed by Marley in her kennel, it is highly recommended that she be closely monitored during feeding.
