A dog's behavior may change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences. Donna A5799283 (Intact) had a relaxed demeanor when the runner arrived and allowed herself to be retrieved with ease. She proceeded to lead the way to the catch pen with a strong pull, barking at her neighboring kennels along the way. Once inside the catch pen, she was easily collared and leashed prior to entering the yard. After entering the yard, Donna approached one of the female dogs, assertively pressing her head on the other dog's neck, causing a minor scuffle, though they were steered away with corrections from the handlers. Donna began to explore the environment while sniffing and licking the other dogs' faces as she crossed paths, maintaining a relaxed posture during the interactions. She appeared bothered by the active dogs around her, flashing her teeth when rough play occurred in her vicinity. Donna was separated from the group after she was triggered by one of the playful dogs, chasing it around the yard. She was allowed to decompress alone before being returned to her kennel. However, once inside the kennel, Donna continuously attempted to rush out of the kennel, making it difficult to retrieve the leash. Due to her impulsive behavior, Donna could benefit from a home with no other dogs to prevent potential conflict.
