He was easy to leash/remove and was taken to the catch pen. Gerry was collared/leashed with ease soliciting petting during the process. Gerry greeted the dogs at the barrier with a tense demeanor and was guided into the play yard. Gerry displayed a relaxed body, closed mouth, natural ear set, neutral tail wag, and soft eyes. He was approached and greeted by a few of the dogs. Gerry became tense as the dogs sniffed around his face. Gerry lunged snapping at the dogs, the handler was holding the leash and was able to prevent him from connecting. The yard was adjusted with minimal dogs. Another dog approached Gerry and he again became tense and lunged at the dog. The handler again prevented Gerry from connecting. He was shifted to the adjacent yard for alone time. Gerry continued to lunge/challenge dogs at the barrier and was easy to steer. When spending time in the alone time yard with the handler Gerry solicited petting from them with a relaxed demeanor.
