Scoby

Scoby is an adoptable male American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a home at San Antonio Animal Care Services in San Antonio, Texas. He is a young adult and medium in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list and today is the last day, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Scoby, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Evaluation Notes: 09/04/2026 - Dog displays sociability with handler by coming over to greet with a loose, wiggly body and a wagging tail and is easy to leash and walk outside where he pulls on leash. He displays sociability with all handlers by coming over and jumping up for treats and affection with a loose, wiggly body and a wagging tail where he mouths handlers at times. He displays sociability with dogs at barrier by greeting appropriately with a loose, wiggly body and a wagging tail where he is vocal. He is easy to return to kennel.
