Percy is an adoptable male American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a home at San Antonio Animal Care Services in San Antonio, Texas. He is a young adult and medium in size. Evaluation Notes: 09/11/2026 - Small Co-house Interaction Dog displays sociability with handler by coming over to greet with a loose body and a wagging tail and is easy to leash and walk outside where he walks well on leash. He displays sociability with male and female dogs observed with by greeting appropriately, coexisting and engaging in brief play behavior with a loose body and a wagging tail. He is easy to return to kennel. From the Chaperone: We went to Starbucks, got a pup cup, then went back to the house and relaxed for a little while, we then went on a walk on a nature trail, then we went to the pet store and got him a toy and a bone! We also stopped by a food truck and got him a turkey leg which he enjoyed! Percy is a great dog, he does good walking, when your passing people he will come to your heel and the rest of the time he likes to lead and sniff around!
