Nina

Nina is an adoptable female American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a home at San Antonio Animal Care Services in San Antonio, Texas. She is a young adult and medium in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list and today is the last day, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Nina, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

Evaluation Notes: 09/17/2026 - 1 of 2 in kennel Dog is reactive upon first approach by barking and growling with a tense body and wagging tail. She is able to be leashed where she is not interested in walking. She is carried to a play yard where she is unable to adjust. She slowly walks back to her kennel with a lowered head, tense body, and tucked tail.
