King Biscuit is an adoptable male Pit Bull Terrier looking for a home at NYC ACC-Manhattan in New York, New York. He is a young adult and medium in size. King was rehomed due to the behaviors he was presented in his original home. His previous owner stated that there were two dog fights and a bite incident that occurred in the home. The bite incident broke skin and resulted in bruising on the owner's leg. While in care, King has been observed to be highly fearful. Noted to have a tense body and low tail. Over time, King has warmed up to handlers recently presenting with a neutral body and allows contact. Medically, King is underweight. King Biscuit was rehomed due to the behaviors he was presented in his original home. His previous owner stated that there were two dog fights and a bite incident that occurred in the home. The bite incident broke skin and resulted in bruising on the owner's leg. While in care, King has been observed to be highly fearful. Noted to have a tense body and low tail. Due to the detailed behavior, we recommend an experienced adult only, single pet home that makes no trips to the dog park. I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.
